From the West (Missoula, Butte)

Go east on Interstate 90, and take Exit #256 for Cardwell. After getting off the highway, turn right, which will take you south on Route 359. At the end of Route 359, turn right onto Route 287, and then immediately turn left on Old Mill Road, which is a gravel road. If you crossed the railroad tracks while on Route 287, you missed Old Mill Road. Follow Old Mill Road for two miles through three right angle turns. There will be a small stone entrance on your left, which is the beginning of the monastery’s driveway. Please drive slowly on this driveway because of three potential dangers: 1) hitting deer or a moose, 2) colliding with a car coming around a sharp turn, and 3) going off the road. Follow this driveway for 2.1 miles, and the chapel will be on your right, beside the lake. The chapel is the log cabin at the bottom of this page.

From the East (Bozeman)

Go west on Interstate 90, and take Exit #274 for Helena/Ennis. After getting off the highway, turn left, which takes you south on Route 287 towards Ennis. Just before Mile Marker 77 and the railroad tracks, turn left (east) onto Old Mill Road, which is a gravel road. If you have crossed the railroad tracks on Route 287, you have missed Old Mill Road. Stay on Old Mill Road for two miles through three right angle turns. There will be a small stone entrance on your left, which is the beginning of the monastery’s driveway. Fly into Bozeman Yellowstone Airport, and follow the directions above from Bozeman.
